通過閱讀學習資料，我對“有效教學”有如下的理解：

1.引起學生學習的意向，即教師首先需要激發學生的學習動機，教學是在學生"想學"的心理基礎上展開的；

2.指明學生所要達到的目標和所學的內容，即教師要讓學生知道學到什么程度以及學什么，學生只有知道了自己學什么或學到什么程度，才會有意識地主動參與；

3.采用易于學生理解的方式，即教學語言有自己的獨特性一一讓學生聽清楚、聽明白，因此，需要借助一些技巧，如重復、深入淺出、抑揚頓挫等。如果教師在講課時不具備這些條件，那么即使教師教得十分辛苦，也不能稱之為真正的教學。

我認為提高小學英語課堂教學的有效性，可以從以下幾方面考慮：

一、課堂教學活動要目標明確

新課程理念下，基礎教育階段英語課程的總體目標是：培養學生的綜合語言運用能力，學生能夠用英語做事情是課堂教學目標達成的主要體現。在小學英語課堂教學中我們應該采用貼近學生生活的，易于學生參與體驗的任務型教學活動。例如，在教學四年級上冊unit5“whatwouldyoulike?”的教學內容時，可以設計“menu”讓學生“到餐館用餐”的活動，讓學生練習食物的單詞rice,fish,beef,soup,noodles,vegetable,juice,bread,milk,

chicken,hotdog,hamburger和句型whatwouldyoulike?canihavesomenoodles,please?sure.

hereyouare。這個教學活動教學目標十分明確，學生表述食品和要求食物的能力都得到了一定程度的發展，這樣的教學活動是有效的教學活動。

而有些活動的教學目標指向性不強，甚至指向錯誤的教學目標。如，在一次聽課中，有位教師在教學單詞chinesebook,englishbook,mathbook,schoolbag,notebook的拼寫時，學生用身體的運動寫出單詞的字母，讓有的學生顯得很興奮，而有的學生純粹是在那里亂扭，甚至連字母都不拼讀，只是覺得好玩，好笑。這樣的活動看似熱鬧，不能起到真正強化單詞的拼寫的作用。像這樣不能指向正確的教學目標的活動我們不能認為它是有效教學。

二、情境創設要真實便于操作，合理分配時間

新課程提倡創設真實、具有挑戰性的開放的教學環境和問題情境。要求教師從學生的生活經驗和已有的知識出發，創設生動有趣的教學情境，引導學生開展觀察、操作、猜想、推理、交流等活動，使學生通過學習活動，掌握基本的知識和技能。

創設符合教學內容的貼近學生生活的真實的教學情境是小學英語課堂實施有效教學的重要途徑。小學英語教學中主要有借助實物和圖像創設的教學情境，借助動作（活動）創設的教學情境，表演，借助語言創設的教學情境，例如，在學習文具的詞匯時，有的教師設計了利用pen,pencil,pencil-case,eraser,ruler,crayon等實物或圖片進行猜謎游戲，讓學生猜書包中的物品；再如在學習“atthezoo”話題時，我設計了帶學生參觀動物園的情景，讓學生口頭描述他們所熟悉的動物如elephant,cat,dog,monkey,bear,tiger的特征,并能說ilikemonkey。這些情境的創設都有利于學生在有限的時間內達到預期的學習目標，教學活動目標明確。

然而，在現在的課堂教學中，尤其在一些展示課的課堂上，有些教師過于注重情境的創設，用大量的時間和語言創設情境。如，有位教師在教授“myclothes”的內容時，設計了開服裝店，買服裝的活動。教師可以課前安排學生分四人小組分別在家里draw一些服裝picture帶到課堂上開展活動。但是在授課時教師首先教學生用紙和彩筆在課堂上制作shirt,t-shirt,skirt,dress,trousers，sweater,jacket,vest,jeans,pants等圖片，結果35分鐘的一節課，學生用了近30分鐘的時間制作“clothespictures”，最后教師僅在臨下課前幾分鐘的時候，讓學生用做好的“clothespictures”開展clothesshop，進行對話練習。整節課的教學時間安排非常不合理，教師用了過多的時間進行了非針對教學目標的活動，使得課堂教學的效率大大降低。又如，有的教師在教“in,under,on”方位詞時，設計了捉迷藏的活動。教師精心地把教室布置成家庭房間的場景，有床、桌子、箱子等物品，一名學生蒙起眼睛猜另一名學生藏的地點。由于學生對活動的場景非常感興趣，注意力不能集中到運用所學語言描述同學位置的教學活動中，并且由于活動場景的有限每次只能有兩名參與活動，使得該活動的效率大大降低。

因此，教師在創設情境時不僅要注重教學情境的真實性、趣味性，而且要考慮到活動的可參與性和效率性。

三、課堂教學語言應簡明易懂

簡單明了的指令語能夠使教師講的時間相對減少，學生實踐語言的機會相對增加。教師在組織小學英語課堂教學活動時應盡量使用英語，這樣可以創設濃厚的英語學習氛圍，也能為學生提供更多的接觸和學習英語的機會。小學英語課堂活動的英語指示語應當簡單和明了。然而，由于小學生所掌握的英語語言知識有限，盡量使用學生能夠理解的詞句，必要時可以通過肢體語言或母語幫助學生理解,“tpr”最能讓學生在“做中學”。如，教big,small,short,long,tall等單詞時，教師借助肢體語言進行教學演示，“big”兩手張開畫個大圈，“small”用兩手指做個特別小的小圈等，學生很快就理解了這些單詞的漢語意思，并且，學生也在一起跟老師做肢體語言表演時，感受到學習的樂趣，也在他們腦海里留下了深刻的印象。也大大提高了課堂教學的有效性。

同時我們強調，盡量使用英語并不排除必要時教師可以使用母語。因為如果學生不能準確地理解教師的語言，就會影響學生對教學內容的理解，無法正確地運用語言，教師就無法有效地開展教學活動，也就無法達到語言訓練的目的。這時如果教師用漢語把意思說出來，學生立刻就會明白該句子結構的意思，這樣也能節省出更多的教學時間開展其它的教學活動。

實施小學英語有效課堂教學的技巧有很多。此外，小組活動、兩人活動、合作學習、個別化學習、合理有效的評價都是實施有效教學的有效方式。

在教學中教師應注意：充分全面地了解學生，面向全體學生，盡可能使教學活動符合學生的興趣；讓學生清楚地了解學習目標，并鼓勵和指導學生確定自己的學習目標；教學中盡量使用容易理解的教學語言，不熟悉的教學語言則盡量使用體態語，必要時直接使用漢語；以教學目標為評價標準的依據，建立合理的、有層次的評價體系，使學生清楚了解評價目標，鼓勵學生進行自我評價。
